On May 5, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a
Decision and Direction of Election,l and on May 20, 1941, issued
an amendment thereto 2 in the above-entitled proceeding. Pursuant
to the Direction of Election as amended, an election by secret ballot
was conducted on May 20, 1941, under the direction and supervision
of the Regional Director for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago,
Illinois). On May 22, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant
to Article III, Section 9 of the National Labor Relations Board
Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served
upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct
of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of
the parties.

of all employees of Ingersoll Steel & Disc Division, • Borg Warner
Corporation-Chicago Works, Chicago, Illinois, exclusive of drafts-
men, technical engineers, nurses, clerical, and supervisory employees
as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and
that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act,
Metal Trades Department, American Federation of Labor is the
exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of
collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of
employment, and other conditions of employment.
