I. O. Case No. R-2685 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES September 23, 1941 On August 9, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 25, 1941, under the direction and super- vision of the Acting Regional Director for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illinois). On August 26, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Rela- tions Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 157. 712 BANNER BED COMPANY 713: majority of production and maintenance employees of Banner Bed Company, Chicago, Illinois, excluding clerical and supervisory em- ployees and teamsters, as their representative for the purposes of' collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Upholsterers Interna- tional Union of North America, affiliated with the American Federa- tion of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees- for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay,. wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
