SECOND AMENDED DIRECTION OF ELECTION
November 16, 1939
On August 31,- 1939, the National Labor Relations Board, herein
called the Board, issued a Decision , Order, and Direction of Election 1
in the above -entitled proceeding . On October 20, 1939, the Board
issued a Supplemental Decision and Amended Direction of Election.2
The Amended Direction of Election provided in part that an election
be held within 30 days from the date of the Amended Direction of
Election under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director
for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illinois).
At the request of the Regional Director , the Board hereby amends
the Amended Direction of Election by striking therefrom the words
"but not later than 30 days from the date of this Amended Direction
of Election" and substituting therefor the words "but not later than
60 days from the date of this Amended Direction of Election."
Mr. WILLIAM M. LEISERSON took no part in the consideration of the
above Second Amended Direction of Election.
