Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret, ballot was conducted on October `10, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On October 14, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regula- tions-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the; parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 1.07. 516 ARMSTRONG RUBBER COMPANY 517 has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees of Armstrong Rubber Company, West Haven, Connecticut, excluding executives, superintendents, foremen, supervisors, inspectors, office and clerical workers, and regular factory watchmen, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, United Rubber Workers of America, Local No. 93, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclu- sive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
