OF L. - Case No. R-3288 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES January 14, 1942 On November 29, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were conducted on December 19, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illinois), (1) among employees in the Die Room, and (2) among production, maintenance, and other employees of the Com- pany. On December 23, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pur- suant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballots or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as follows: 1. L----------------- 188 By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Rela- tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Chicago Die Sinkers Local No; 100 of the International Die Sinkers Conference has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees in the Die Room of Armstrong Bros. Tool Co., Chicago, 'Illinois, including die sinkers and their apprentices engaged in making forge dies and trimming dies for the drop-forge department, excluding working foremen and higher supervisory employees, office and clerical employees, and time-study men, as their representative for the purposes of collective -bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Chicago Die Sinkers Local No. 100 of the International Die Sinkers Conference is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other con- ditions of employment; and IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local 732, International Union United Automobile Workers of America, affiliated with the A. F. of L., has been designated and selected by a majority of all production, maintenance, and other employees of Armstrong Bros. Tool Co., Chicago, Illinois, excluding working foremen and higher supervisory employees, office and clerical employees, and time-study men, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Local 732, International Union United Automobile Workers of America, affiliated with the A.
