Case No. =R-2708 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER September 3, 1941 On July 25, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 13, 1941,,under the, direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On August 15, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regu- lations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and the results thereof, the Regional Director reported as follows : ' Total number of employees eligible to vote__________ _______ 15 Total number of ballots cast_______________________________ 15 Total number of valid ballots__ ___________________________ 14 Total number of votes in favor of United Packinghouse Workers of America, Local 49A, C. O---------------------- 7 Total number of blank ballots ____________________________ 1 Total number of void ballots______________________________ 0 Total number of challenged ballots_______________________ 0 The results of the election show that no collective bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees of Armour and Company of Delaware at its branch office at 635 Brook Avenue, Bronx, New York, in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for 1 33 N. The petition for investigation and'certification of representatives will therefore be dismissed. ORDER By virtue of Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relation's Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition for investigation and certifi- cation of representatives of employees of Armour and Company of Delaware , at its branch office at 635 Brook Avenue, Bronx, New York, filed by United Packinghouse Workers of America, Local 49A, C. 1. 0., be, and it hereby is, dismissed.
