DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
The National Labor Relations Board has considered an objection to an election held July
13, 2015, and the Regional Director's report recommending disposition of them. The election
was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The revised tally of ballots shows
3 ballots cast for and 0 ballots cast against the Union, with 1 challenged ballot, an insufficient
number to affect the results.
No exceptions have been filed to the Regional Director's report within the time provided.
Accordingly, the Board adopts the Regional Director's findings and recommendations, and finds
that a certification of representative should be issued.
CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have been cast for Local 2 Building
Service Employees and Factory Workers, United Service Workers Union, International Union of
Journeymen and Allied Trades and that it is the exclusive collective-bargaining representative of
the employees in the following appropriate unit:
All regular and full-time superintendants, assistant superintendants, maintenance
men, handymen, porters, relief porters, firemen, doormen, relief doormen,
elevator men and painters but excluding all security guards and supervisors as
defined by the National Labor Relations Act.
