Section 901 - Short title and scope of chapter(a) Short title of chapter.--This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Municipal Reapportionment Act.(b) Scope of chapter.--This chapter applies to the following entities: (2) Units of government created and existing under Subpart E of Part III (relating to home rule and optional plan government).(3) Similar general purpose units of local government created by statute.1996, Dec. 19, P.L. 1158, No. 177, § 1, effective in 60 days.
