Section 84.060 - Board of police - secretary, appointment, salary1. The board shall appoint a secretary to act as such for the board of police commissioners, to be appointed in the same manner as other officers, and such appointment shall be additional to the number of appointments herein provided. The secretary shall serve at the pleasure of the board.2. The salary of the secretary of the board shall be determined and fixed by the board of police commissioners, and no other provisions of this chapter shall apply in the determination of the amount of the salary of the secretary.3.
