Section 40:1472.18 - Careless use of explosivesA. No person shall store, handle, dispose, transport, transfer, load, unload, or use explosives or blasting agents, as defined by R.S. 40:1472.2, in a careless or imprudent manner without regard for the hazards or circumstances in which the explosives or blasting agents are being stored, handled, disposed, transported, transferred, loaded, unloaded, or used.B. Whoever is convicted of violating this Section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than five hundred dollars and not more than two thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than ninety days.C. Any person in possession of an explosive license issued under R.S. 40:1472.3 upon conviction shall have such license revoked for one year from date of conviction.La.
