Section 40:2180.12 - Definitions

As used in this Part:

(1) "Crisis receiving centers" means an agency, business, institution, society, corporation, person or persons, or any other group, licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health to provide crisis identification, intervention, and stabilization services for people in behavioral crisis. Crisis receiving centers shall receive, examine, triage, refer, or treat people in behavioral health crisis.
(2) "Department" means the Louisiana Louisiana Department of Health.
