Rule 1915.5 - Preliminary Objections to Jurisdiction or Venue

All preliminary objections to jurisdiction or venue shall be forwarded by the Prothonotary to the presiding judge for prompt disposition. In order to facilitate compliance with the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act, a party shall provide the court with all known information concerning a custody proceeding in another state which involves the child, including but not limited to the following:

(1) the name and address of the court in which the case is pending;
(2) the caption of the case;
(3) the name, address and telephone number of the judge to whom the case is assigned, and
(4) true and attested copies of any orders entered in the case. Information provided under this rule shall be submitted in writing and attached as an exhibit to the preliminary objection.
