Rule 9.2 - Administration
a. The Appeals Department is under the administrative supervision of the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court who shall establish the personnel and budget requirements for that department.
b. The Presiding Judge shall designate the judge(s) or commissioner(s) who shall be assigned to the Appeals Department for an initial appointment of at least three (3) years.
c. The clerk of the Appeals Department shall be a deputy Clerk of the Superior Court.
d. Cases assigned to the Appeals Department shall be assigned a number by the Clerk of the Superior Court beginning with an alphabetical prefix, "LC." Otherwise all Appeals Department cases shall be numbered as prescribed by the Clerk of the Superior Court.

Former rule 9.2, appeals by indigents--criminal matters only, was formerly Rule 8.2, was amended June 19, 1984, effective July 2, 1984, was renumbered as Rule 9.2 June 27, 1989, and was abrogated effective Oct. 16, 2003.
