Section 64-59-1 - General1.1. Scope. -- This legislative rule establishes the rights of patients of state-operated mental health facilities.1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Code § 27-5-9(g).1.3. Filing Date. -- April 29, 2021.1.4. Effective Date. -- April 30, 2021.1.5. Sunset Provision. -- This rule shall terminate and have no further force or effect on August 1,2026.1.6. Construction. -- This rule shall be liberally construed to effectuate the rehabilitative goals of Chapter 27 of the West Virginia Code, consistent with the protection of patient rights and dignity.
