Section 64-54-7 - Infection Control7.1. A hospice shall maintain an effective infection control program that protects the patients, their families and hospice personnel by preventing and controlling infections and communicable diseases.7.2. The program shall include the implementation of a nationally recognized system of infection control guidelines.7.3. A hospice shall designate a person or persons responsible for the education and training of all staff in regards to infection control.
