Section 58-41-5 - Background Check5.1. Upon receipt of a completed application, the natural resource police officer in the district of the applicant's residence, shall determine if the applicant has, within the last five (5) years, been convicted of a violation of any federal or state statute or rule or regulation which is related to the activity for which the license is sought. If the natural resource police officer determines that a violation exists, the Division shall not issue a wildlife damage control license for a period of at least five (5) years after the violation.
