Section R432-600-16 - General Patient Care Policies(1) Each patient shall be treated as an individual with dignity and respect.(2) Each clinic shall develop and implement patient care policies to be reviewed annually by the administrator or designee. (a) Patient care policies shall be developed and revised through patient-care conferences with all professionals involved in patient care.(b) Admission and discharge policies shall be included in general patient care policies.(3) The facility shall have a policy to notify next of kin in the event of serious injury to, or death of, the patient.(4) Each patient shall be under the care of a physician who is a member of the clinic staff.Utah Admin.
