Section R432-150-20 - Pet Policy(1) The licensee shall develop a written policy regarding pets in accordance with local ordinances.(2) The licensee shall ensure that the administrator or designee determines which pets may be brought into the facility and ensures that pet policy and practices adhere to the following:(a) family members may bring pets to visit provided they have approval from the administrator and offer assurance that the pets are clean, disease free, and vaccinated;(b) pets are not permitted in food preparation or storage areas; and(c) pets are not permitted in any area where their presence would create a health or safety risk.Utah Admin.
