Section R432-12-14 - Grab Bars and Handrails(1) The licensee shall ensure that grab bars meet the requirements of the plans review outlined in Rule R432-4.(2) The licensee shall ensure that there are handrails on both sides of any corridors in Level I and Level II facilities as defined in Rule R432-200 and that handrail profiles are graspable in accordance with the plans review section of Rule R432-4.(3) Ends of grab bars and handrails shall return to the wall or be otherwise arranged to minimize potential for injury.Utah Admin.
