Section 183.9 - Training requirements for the commissions and their employees(a) Registrars, employees and clerks of a commission who are responsible for voter registration shall attend the Department's initial training sessions on the SURE system according to the SURE implementation schedule prior to the commission's connection to the SURE system. Upon completion of the initial training, attendees will be certified by the Department. The Department will notify the commission at least 2 weeks prior to its training session.(b) In addition to the training required in subsection (a), registrars and the employees and clerks of a commission who are responsible for voter registration may be required to complete additional training at other times and places as determined by the Department.The provisions of this § 183.9 adopted December 27, 2002, effective 1/27/2003, 32 Pa.B. 6340.
