The purpose of the Commission on College and Career Success (Commission) is to:
(1) Undertake a comprehensive review of the Commonwealth's laws, regulations and policies to ascertain whether they set clear and consistent expectations for high school success to ensure that all students graduate ready for college and careers.(2) Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, which includes this Commonwealth, National and international studies.(3) Encourage and endorse strategies for school districts to increase academic achievement and graduation rates in high school.(4) Encourage and endorse strategies for higher education to increase retention through the first 2 years of postsecondary education.(5) Produce a final report that includes recommendations for any necessary changes to legislation, regulations and policies consistent with the mission of the Commission.
