Section 6.722 - FunctionsThe Governor's Census 2020 Complete Count Commission shall coordinate this Commonwealth's involvement in preparing for the decennial census and recommend actions necessary to complete the following:
(a) Coordinate the Commonwealth's involvement in the U.S. Census Bureau's recruitment of Pennsylvanians to assist in a variety of census-related activities.(b) Promote and educate Pennsylvanians regarding the importance of the census.(c) Develop partnerships between the public and private sectors to maximize resources used to achieve a complete and accurate count.(d) Implement cooperative arrangements among local governments, non-profit organizations, and other public and private entities to share addresses and other geographic information.(e) Develop and implement strategies to reach hard-to-count populations and hard-to-enumerate areas.
