Section 5.187 - Designation of the Department of Environmental Protection(a)Designated agency. The Department of Environmental Protection, in addition to other duties conferred by the laws of the Commonwealth, is designated as the agency primarily responsible for providing staff services to the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority (PEDA). The PEDA will refer any projects which require the issuance of debt to the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority for the issuance of bonds or notes.(b)Rescission. Executive Order 1995-3 is rescinded.The provisions of this § 5.187 adopted by Executive Order No. 1995-3, dated July 10, 1995, 25 Pa.B. 2982; amended by Executive Order No. 2004-5, dated April 8, 2004, 34 Pa.B. 2287.
