Section 5.743 - Powers and dutiesThe Commission will:
(1) Actively seek information and recommendations from the National, State and local criminal justice experts and agencies, victim services providers, advocates, local government and the public at large.(2) Study financial costs related to the corrections system, including the following: (i) Direct and indirect operational costs.(ii) Construction and financing costs.(iii) Costs related to treatment of offenders in prison and in alternate programs.(iv) Costs to victims of violence and of property crimes.
