Section 8:43D-14.2 - Housekeeping

(a) A facility shall establish a written work plan for housekeeping operations that identifies the frequency of cleaning assignments as daily, weekly, monthly, or annually for each area of the facility and maintenance schedules for all equipment, structures, areas, and systems.

(b) Personnel with housekeeping duties shall be trained in cleaning procedures, including the use and care of equipment.

(c) All cleaning and disinfecting agents shall be correctly labeled with the name of the product and its use, including agents that have been repackaged from a bulk source.
