Section Saf-C 3245.06 - Affixing Inspection Sticker

(a) The sticker shall be affixed to the windshield surface, immediately after the inspection has been completed. The windshield surface shall be dry and clean of dirt, grease, and moisture.

(b) Each sticker shall be affixed as follows:

(1) Either:

a. The protective liner shall be removed from the adhesive side of the colored backing, and the appropriate numerical monthly insert designating the month of expiration shall be attached to the adhesive side of the backing so that the insert is legible from outside of the vehicle; or

b. If an on-demand sticker, the printed informational insert shall be attached to the adhesive side of the on-demand backing so that the insert is legible from outside of the vehicle;

(2) The sticker shall be positioned on the lower left corner of the interior side of the windshield, as close to the bottom and left edges of the windshield as possible, but no more than 2 inches away from the bottom and left edges of the windshield; and

(3) Pressure shall be applied to the sticker for adhesion.

(c) Numerical monthly inserts and printed informational inserts shall always be affixed to the vehicle in accordance with these rules and shall never be issued separately.
