A semi-trailer or full trailer shall be equipped with a bumper or rear end protection which shall be no more than 30 inches above the ground and within at least 18 inches of each side. Pole trailers, pulpwood trailers and trailers towed in a driveaway-towaway operation shall be exempt from this section.
