Section Saf-C 3111.05 - Miscellaneous Equipment

(a) All driver education vehicles shall be equipped with the following:

(1) Accident report forms;

(2) Emergency triangles; and

(3) A first aid kit which, at a minimum, includes the following:

a. Adhesive tape, 1" x 2 1/2 yards;

b. Sterile gauze pads;

c. Five 3/4" x 3" adhesive bandages;

d. Assorted bandage compresses, including 2" and 3" sizes;

e. Sterile gauze roller bandages, 2" x 6";

f. Two non-sterile triangular bandages, approximately 40" x 36" x 54";

g. Safety pins;

h. Two sterile gauze pads, 36" x 36";

i. Sterile eye pads;

j. Round end scissors; and

k. One pair of latex gloves.

(b) All driver education vehicles shall allow the driver to adjust the seat to reach the pedals by:

(1) Moving up or down and forward or backward;

(2) Utilizing the seat cushions; or

(3) Utilizing pedal extensions.

(c) All driver education vehicles shall be equipped with a cellular telephone or other similar device to be used in emergency situations.
