Section Saf-C 2308.05 - Training

(a) Prior to being appointed as a vessel agent, each applicant shall complete a training program conducted at the Division of Motor Vehicles, Stephen E. Merrill Building, 23 Hazen Drive, Concord, New Hampshire, or such other location as the department shall determine.

(b) The training program shall include the following instruction:

(1) Completing a private vessel registration;

(2) Filing weekly reports pursuant to Saf-C 2308.11;

(3) Collecting private vessel registration and boat fees;

(4) Issuing vessel registration certificates, vessel numbers and decals;

(5) Maintaining records;

(6) Retaining the agent fee pursuant to Saf-C 2308.10; and

(7) Posting office hours pursuant to Saf-C 2308.14.
