Whenever steel caps or hoods are required to protect padlocks, the steel cap or hood shall be constructed of not less than 1/4 inch steel and shall be so designed to eliminate access to the hasp between the hood or cap and magazine. Extra 1/4 inch steel shall be required to prevent the cutting of any part of the locking assembly.
