Section Saf-C 1402.01 - Standards(a) All carnival or amusement rides, except as set forth in (b) below, shall conform to the standards set forth in the 8th edition of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standards on Amusement Rides and Devices (2012), available as noted in Appendix B.(b) Challenge courses and zip lines that are not built on concrete or steel footings shall conform to the standards set forth in the 16th edition of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/ACCT Challenge Courses and Canopy/Zip Line Tours Standards (2016), available as noted in Appendix B.(c) Challenge courses and zip lines that are built on concrete or steel footings shall conform to the standards set forth in (a) above.(d) Homemade rides or devices shall be: (1) Built to conform to or exceed the standards set forth in the 8th Edition of the ASTM Standards on Amusement Rides and Devices (2012), available as noted in Appendix B; and(2) Certified by an agent of the commissioner as meeting such standards.N.H.
