Section Saf-C 1312.07 - Fire Extinguishers(a) Each multipurpose passenger vehicle shall be equipped with a fire extinguisher, approved by Underwriter's Laboratories with a 2 pound capacity that has a rating of not less than 2A-10B:C.(b) Each fire extinguisher shall be securely mounted in an accessible location in the driver or the passenger compartment of the vehicle.(c) Each fire extinguisher shall have a functional pressure gauge mounted on the extinguisher, so that it shall be easily read without removing the extinguisher from its mounted position.(d) The operating mechanism shall be sealed in such a manner so as not to interfere with the use of the fire extinguisher.N.H.
