"Installation" means the initial placement of portable fire extinguishers, fire extinguishing systems, fire sprinkler systems or fire alarm systems or the extension, modification, or alteration of equipment after the initial placement, and includes the inspection and testing of the equipment attendant to the placement or alteration of portable fire extinguishers, fire extinguishing systems, fire sprinkler systems or fire alarm systems.
