Section Saf-C 102.04 - Appointing Authority

(a) The director of each division is the appointing authority for his/her division and shall require approval of the commissioner for:

(1) Appointments;

(2) Promotions;

(3) Demotions; and

(4) Disciplinary action.

(b) The commissioner, or the assistant commissioner with the commissioner's approval, shall be the appointing authority for all administration and support sections of the department.
