There shall be written policies and procedures for handling cases of patient neglect and abuse. The policies and procedures on patient neglect or abuse shall be given to all personnel. Any alleged violations of these policies and procedures shall be investigated, and the results of such investigation shall be reviewed and approved by the director and reported to the governing body.
