Personnel policies and procedures shall be developed in writing, adopted, and maintained to promote the objectives of the facility and to provide for an adequate number of qualified personnel during all hours of operation to support the functions of the facility and the provision of high quality care.
1. All personnel policies shall be reviewed and approved on an annual basis by the governing body.2. There shall be documentation to verify that the written personnel policies and procedures are explained and made available to each employee.3. The policies and procedures shall include a mechanism for determining that all personnel are medically and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and are free of communicable and infectious diseases.15 Miss.
