The number of registered professional nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other nursing personnel shall be adequate to formulate and carry out the nursing components of the individual treatment plan for each patient, and shall include at least one registered nurse for each sixty patients seven days a week. There shall be at least one licensed nurse on a 24 hour basis, seven days a week, for each sixty patients. The nurse staffing ratios, including licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel, shall be subject to approval by the Mississippi Department of Health.
