The agency shall insure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with written policies and procedures. Records shall be stored in a locked area and only authorized personnel shall have access to the records. Clinical records are the property of the home health agency and may be released only with the written consent of the patient, the legal guardian, or in accordance with the law.
