Rule 15-16-1-44.9.1 - Officer or Administrator1. The governing authority shall appoint a qualified person as chief executive officer or administrator of the facility to represent the governing authority and shall define his/her authority and duties in writing. He/she shall be responsible for the management of the facility, implementation of the policies of the governing authority and authorized and empowered to carry out the provisions of these regulations.2. When there is a planned change in ownership or in the chief executive officer, the governing authority of the facility shall notify the Mississippi Department of Health. The chief executive officer shall be responsible for the preparation of written facility policies and procedures.15 Miss. Code. R. § 16-1-44.9.1
