Rule 15-16-1-3.20.15 - Ceilings1. All ceilings shall be of sound construction with an acceptable surface and shall be maintained in good repair. Generally, the ceilings should be painted a light color. 2.Ceiling Height. All ceilings shall have a height of at least eight (8) feet except that a height of seven (7) feet and six (6) inches may be approved for corridors or toilets and bathing rooms where the lighting fixtures are recessed.
