Rule 15-16-1-1.47.29 - Mechanical and Electrical Systems

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and water systems installed shall meet the requirements of local codes and ordinances as well as the applicable regulation of the Department of Health. Where there are no local codes or ordinances, the following codes and recommendations shall govern:

1. National Electrical Code.

2. National Plumbing Code.

3. American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc.

4. Recommendations of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

5. Recommendations of American Gas Association.

6. National Board of Fire Underwriters.
