Section R. 325.1670 - Temporarily abandoned wellsRule 170.
(1) A temporarily abandoned well shall be in compliance with the minimum construction and isolation distance requirements of these rules.(2) A temporarily abandoned well shall be disconnected from any water distribution piping and shall have the top of the casing securely capped to prevent the entrance of surface water or foreign materials into the well and to prevent access to the well.Mich.
