Section 26.21.01.13 - Backfilling and Grading

A. The permit area shall include any area which will be mined to produce additional materials for backfilling and grading.

B. The mining and reclamation plan shall provide that if settling occurs additional backfilling shall be performed.

C. If the postmining land use includes roads, building sites, or other improvements, the mining and reclamation plan shall require compaction of the fill materials in conformance with good engineering practice.
