Section 26.20.03.07 - Augering

A. Any application for a permit for augering operations shall contain, in the mining and reclamation plan, a description of the augering methods to be used and the measures to be used to comply with the requirements of COMAR 26.20.24.01 a for auger mining.

B. A permit may not be issued for an augering operation unless the Bureau finds, in writing, that the operation:

(1) Meets all other requirements of this subtitle; and

(2) Will be conducted in compliance with COMAR 26.20.24.01 a.
