Section V-11903 - State Registrar
A. Certified Copies of Death Certificates. The state registrar of vital records shall indicate on the original of each death certificate the date that said certificate is received in his office. The state registrar shall indicate by date stamp, the date requests for certified copies of death certificates are received in his office. The state registrar shall, within forty-eight hours, or two working days, process and mail certified copies of death certificates to fill requests received in his office.
