Section V-11117 - Delayed Death CertificatesA. In instances where there exists no death certificate of record, of a death or stillbirth occurring in the state, the coroner or medical examiner, the funeral director, or the hospital or institution wherein the death occurred shall complete a certificate of death based on their records. Said certificate shall be accompanied by a letter attesting to the facts contained therein.La. Admin. Code tit. 48, § V-11117
