Section CXXXI-1515 - Local Education Agency AppealA. If an educational leader evaluation demonstrates that the standards of effectiveness, as determined by BESE, have been met, using value-added data or other components of the evaluation, for three years during the initial certification or renewal process, a certificate shall be issued or renewed unless the LDE or BESE receives evidence from the LEA that justifies discontinuation.B. Similarly, if an educational leader evaluation demonstrates that the standards of effectiveness, as determined by BESE, have not been met, using either value-added data or other components of the evaluation, for three years during the initial certification or renewal process, the LDE/BESE shall not issue or renew a certificate unless evidence of effectiveness is received from the LEA that justifies the issuance of a certificate.La.
