Section 410 IAC 7-24-408 - Wall and ceiling attachments

Sec. 408.

(a) Except as specified in subsection (b), attachments to walls and ceilings, such as:

(1) light fixtures;

(2) mechanical room ventilation system components;

(3) vent covers;

(4) wall-mounted fans;

(5) decorative items; and

(6) other attachments;

shall be easily cleanable.

(b) In a consumer area, wall and ceiling surfaces and decorative items and attachments that are provided for ambiance need not meet this requirement if they are kept clean.

(c) For purposes of this section, a violation of subsection (a) or (b) is a noncritical item.
