Section 25.410 - Reporting Requirements for Revoked or Suspended Licenses, Endorsements, or Approvals; License Application Denials
a) When a license, endorsement, or approval is suspended or revoked in Illinois or an application for an Illinois educator license is denied, all other states and possessions of the United States shall be informed of this action through a report to the NASDTEC Educator Identification Clearinghouse maintained by the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification.
b) The license of an individual who voluntarily surrenders that license shall be treated as a revoked license. (See Section 21B-45 of the School Code [105 ILCS 5 ].) An individual who voluntarily surrenders a professional educator license or educator license with stipulations also surrenders all of the endorsements on that license. (Also see Section 25.411 of this Part.)
