Section 8-54-10.9 - Final decision and order(a) The board's final decision and order shall either adopt, modify, or reverse, in whole or in part, the hearings officer's recommended decision. The board shall state with specificity in the final decision the reasons for any modification or reversal, in whole or in part, of the hearings officer's recommended decision.(b) The board shall cause a copy of the final decision and order to be served upon each party by personal service or by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested.
